On Nov. 25, ALSK LEG adopted electronic notices, filing date changes.
ALSK LEG published notice of adopted, filed changes to regulations of the Department of Commerce, Community, and Economic Development on occupational licensing.

Occupational Licensing
Added if application/licensee opted in to electronic communication, address provided may be used for official correspondence and notifications, in ALSK LEG 12-02.900(a).
In ALSK LEG 12-02.900(b), provided that a licensee shall, rather than must, notify the division of changes to physical, mailing, or electronic mail address on file with division.
Specified notice may be submitted in writing or through professional licensing portal.
Document Filing
Under ALSK LEG 12-02.920(a), provided that document received by electronic mail, facsimile, or hand delivered, it is considered filed on date stamped on the document.
If uploaded on MyAlaska professional licensing portal, filed on date successful upload.
For documents received by mail, considered filed on postmark date of the document.
Effectiveness
Changes adopted by Dept. on Nov. 19, signed by lieutenant governor Nov. 22, 2024.
Amendments effective Dec. 22, 2024, will first appear in Register 252, Jan. 2025.
