On Dec. 17, POR CMVM provided an update on DORA regulation.
POR CMVM confirmed that Reg 2022/2554 on digital operational resilience of the financial sector in the EU (DORA regulation) applies from Jan. 17, 2025.
Reporting Duties
Financial entities and information and communication technology (ICT) service providers covered by the DORA Regulation will, as of that date, be subject to compliance with the duties provided for in the new regulatory framework.
CMVM is preparing the operationalization of information reporting duties provided for in DORA for the entities subject to its supervision, including the respective regulations.
In accordance with the content and formats defined in European legislation.
If these files cannot be submitted via the electronic single window under the forthcoming regulations, then email must be used as an alternative method.
Effectiveness
Law enters into force on Jan. 17, 2025, files must be sent to CMVM by this date.
