On Dec. 13, RUS GVT amended labor code of the Russian Federation.
RUS GVT signed RUS PRL law 470-FZ on amendments to the labor code of Russia.
Key Provisions
The law aims to implement Constitutional Court res 59-P and provides for amendments to the Labor Code in the part relating to clarification of the legal status of the head of the organization and the head of the branch and their employment contracts.
Also, the law gives RUS GVT the authority to establish features of regulation of labor relations and other directly related to them relations in the event of an emergency.
Including creating a threat of mass dismissal of workers and entailing the need for taking prompt measures to ensure the functioning of organizations and employees.
Effectiveness
Enters into force on date of official publication, except Art 1, para 4 on Jan. 1, 2025.
