IND ICCL issued notice on provision of web portal for clients to view their collateral.
Follows IND SEBI May 2021 re framework for collateral segregation, see #105206.
Reporting Requirement
Members are required to report disaggregated collateral information of each client on a daily basis; once registered, portal allows investors to view disaggregated collateral.
Many investors are unaware of this facility, so members are asked to educate them through various channels like letters, SMS, emails, social media, and websites.
Effectiveness
All members must publish a link to the facility on their homepage by May 31, 2024.
