On Apr. 3, TAI GVT reminded of updating ARC number in banks.
TAI GVT said foreign taxpayers shall ensure alien resident certificate (ARC) number used to file tax return should be the same as the records in bank/post office account.
Otherwise, tax payment by credit card or tax refund through money transfer will fail.
Filing by Foreign Taxpayers
Foreign individual income tax filing period will be from May 1, 2024 to May 31, 2024.
Foreign taxpayers can file their individual income taxes online with their ARC number.
They shall ensure the ARC number in their bank/post office record is up to date.
