Bill Provisions
A non-grandfathered health plan issued on or after bill effective date must provide coverage for certain preventative services as guidelines existed on Jan. 8, 2024.
Including immunizations for routine use in children, adolescents, and adults.
As well as evidence-informed preventative care and screenings for individuals, additional preventative care services for women not listed with rating of A or B.
Non-grandfathered plan is no longer required to provide coverage for services.
On an annual basis, health carrier must determine whether any additional items or services must be covered without cost-sharing requirements or no longer covered.
