Uses electronic renewal processing with national insurance producer registry (NIPR).
Procedures
All terminations must be posted to NIPR website by Apr. 15, 2024; no fees due.
On May 1, 2024, NIPR will display renewal invoices and list of appointments due.
Electronic payment options will immediately show invoice as paid and forward payment and renewal transactions to Connecticut within 24 hours of that payment.
All regular appointment transactions will be processed as usual during renewals.
Appointments added on or after Apr. 15, 2024, will not be renewed until 2026 cycle.
All appointment renewal and NIPR processing fees are non-refundable.
Noted that paper checks are not acceptable; renewal with one will not be processed.
Deadline
Payments made after May 31, 2024, will automatically be assessed 10% of the invoice total to a maximum of $15,000; late fee will be included in the final amount due.
