  • Uses electronic renewal processing with national insurance producer registry (NIPR).
  • Procedures
  • All terminations must be posted to NIPR website by Apr. 15, 2024; no fees due.
  • On May 1, 2024, NIPR will display renewal invoices and list of appointments due.
  • Electronic payment options will immediately show invoice as paid and forward payment and renewal transactions to Connecticut within 24 hours of that payment.
  • All regular appointment transactions will be processed as usual during renewals.
  • Appointments added on or after Apr. 15, 2024, will not be renewed until 2026 cycle.
  • All appointment renewal and NIPR processing fees are non-refundable.
  • Noted that paper checks are not acceptable; renewal with one will not be processed.
  • Deadline
  • Payments made after May 31, 2024, will automatically be assessed 10% of the invoice total to a maximum of $15,000; late fee will be included in the final amount due.
