Details
ICE FEU invited members, customers to register interest in participating in program.
The exchange will then select eight participants based on their potential contribution to the enhancement of liquidity in ICE WTI Options and ICE Brent Options.
If they meet volume thresholds, participants will pay reduced fees for resulting trades.
Rebates paid monthly before end of calendar month subsequent to month in which trading undertaken; ICE FEU will use numerous factors to determine if prospective participant is selected for program, including overall historical volume in the products.
And their ability to maintain any threshold volume obligations for program duration.
ICE FEU may sometimes add/subtract from above factors as it deems necessary.
ICE FEU may also suspend/withhold full or part payment if fail to meet commitments.
Effectiveness
The program is in effect from Sep. 1, 2021 until Nov. 30, 2021.
May 2023 Program Extended
On May 31, 2023, ICE FEU issued circular advising members that the crude oil options liquidity provider program, in effect Sep. 1, 2021, is extended until May, 31 2024.
All participants currently enrolled in these programs must re-apply if they wish to remain in the programs; applicants will be subject to approval by ICE FEU.
