SBA Washington Drought Loans
On Oct. 4, SBA made disaster loans available in Washington State.
- SBA economic injury disaster loans available to Washington State small businesses.
- Due to economic losses and reduced revenues caused by drought that began Aug. 1.
- Eligibility
- Loans available in primary Washington counties Benton, Franklin and Pierce.
- Neighboring Washington counties: Adams, Columbia, Grant, and King.
- Also available in Kitsap, Kittitas, Klickitat, Lewis, Mason, Thurston, and Walla Walla.
- Whitman, Yakima; as well as in neighboring Oregon counties of Morrow and Umatilla.
- Small nonfarm businesses, agricultural cooperatives, businesses engaged in aquaculture, most private nonprofits are eligible for this disaster relief.
- May qualify for Economic Injury Disaster Loans (EIDLs) of up to $2 million.
- Help meet obligations, operating expenses which may have been met if no disaster.
- Eligibility is based on financial impact of disaster only, not on any actual damage.
- Application Deadline
- The deadline for submitting completed EIDL applications to the SBA is May 28, 2024.
