Primary county San Patricio and neighboring counties Aransas, Bee, Jim Wells, Live Oak, Nueces and Refugio for drought beginning on Aug. 8, 2023 and continuing.
Based on rain, flooding, hail, and high winds occurring May 1 through Jun. 5, 2023.
Declaration 18234
More than 30 primary counties and dozens of neighboring counties in TX and NM as listed for damage from excessive heat from Jun. 1, 2023, and continuing.
Declaration 18235
Nearly 40 primary counties and dozens more neighboring counties in TX and NM as listed in declaration for heat and drought beginning Jun. 1, 2023 and continuing.
Eligibility
Small nonfarm businesses, agricultural cooperatives, businesses engaged in aquaculture, and private nonprofits may qualify for EIDLs of up to $2mn.
For obligations, operating expenses that could have been met if disaster did not occur.
Eligibility is based on financial impact only and not on any actual property damage.
Deadline
Completed applications for all four disasters must be submitted by May 29, 2024.
