On Nov. 10, ASX notified of ASX Trade production environment test.
ASX issued a notice stating that it will open the production ASX Trade environment.
Open during Cboe AST industry-wide testing (IWT) windows, Dec. 2022 to Feb. 2023.
Testing Dates
To give broader market an opportunity to validate functionality between ASX and Cboe AST during AST Cboe’s IWT events, ASX will open production ASX Trade environment.
Said it will be opened on Dec. 10, 2022, Jan. 14, 2023, Feb. 4, 2023, Feb. 25, 2023.
Also said participants are welcome to participate in any or all of the test weekends.
Registration
In order to participate, customer registration form must be completed and submitted to ASX customer technical support by the close of business on Nov. 25, 2022.
Participants also need to specify connectivity details that will be used in the test.
Other Aspects
During test, the ASX TradeMatch order books will be opened for transactional activity.
The test is limited to ASX Trade connections for order entry as well as execution.
Said that there will be no access provided to CHESS or Signal B; also access to the production ASX Trade ITCH, OUCH and OMNet services will be enabled for the test.
ITCH, OUCH, OMNet customers not joining test should ensure their sessions remain disconnected after the ASX Trade system shutdown at 20:30 AEDT on the Friday before each event until conclusion of testing on Saturday and rollback is completed.
Notice contains a table that sets out testing schedule; also notes mandatory sign-off procedure - sign-off must be submitted by 14:30 AEDT on the relevant Saturday.

Notice effective Nov. 10, 2022; to participate, registration required by Nov. 25, 2022.
Nov. 2022 Cboe AST Technical Notice
On Nov. 11, 2022, Cboe AST issued a notice advising that AST Cboe's participant test environment will change its ASX testenvironment connectivity to ASX Trade CDE.
Cboe AST's Tech CERTenvironment will be changed to connect to ASX Trade CDE+.
Said that both of the changes above will be effective from Monday, Nov. 14, 2022.
Cboe AST's connection to the CHESS RTE testenvironment has been changed to connect to the Cboe AST Tech CERT environment to allow for end-to-end testing.
Mar. 2023 Test Environment Shut Down
On Mar. 22, 2023, Cboe AST said Cboe AST's trading platform migration has been confirmed for Mar. 27, 2023 launch; Cboe AST also advised of an upcoming shutdown.
Specifically, it advised that the Cboe AST's participant test environment (PTE) will be shut down, and also advised that it will not accept connections from Mar. 23, 2023.
Mar. 2024 Cancel Only Test
On Mar. 11, 2024, ASX said it will conduct an industry wide test (IWT) on May 4, 2024.
The IWT will test the CANCEL_ONLY session state together with the new order download service (ODS) and trade download service (TDS) part of service release 14.

Apr. 2024 Cancel Only Test Reminder
On Apr. 15, 2024, ASX issued reminder that it will conduct an industry-wide test on May 4, 2024, in accordance with the instructions issued on Mar. 11 as detailed above.
Interested participants must register by close of business Friday Apr. 26, 2024.
