  • Aug. 2, 2024 SBA Idaho Disaster Assistance
  • On Aug. 2, 2024, SBA reported opening a Virtual Disaster Loan Outreach Center on Aug. 5, 2024, for low-interest disaster applications for rural and non-rural areas.
  • Businesses of all sizes and private nonprofits may borrow up to $2mn to repair or replace damaged or destroyed real estate, equipment, inventory, other assets.
  • SBA can also lend additional funds to businesses and homeowners to help with the cost of improvements to prevent or minimize future disaster damage from occurring.
  • For small businesses, agricultural cooperatives, businesses engaged in aquaculture and most private nonprofits, SBA offers EIDLs to help meet working capital needs.
  • EIDLs are available regardless of whether business suffered any property damage.
  • Disaster loans up to $500k available to homeowners to repair damaged real estate.
  • Additionally, homeowners and renters are eligible for up to $100,000 to repair or replace damaged or destroyed personal property, including personal vehicles.
