Real Estate Continuing Education
Licensees holding a real estate license are required to receive a specified hours of CE courses on deed theft/misrepresentation, which must be completed by Nov. 1, 2028.
Also deed theft as intentionally altering property documents with the intent to deceive or defraud, which includes the misrepresentation of oneself as the property owner.
Required notification on deed theft signs and risks to be provided to signers at closing.
