Jun. 12, 2025 BVMF New Version and Compatibility Policy
On Jun. 12, 2025, BVMF has published Communication 027/2025-VNC re ePUMA.
New ePUMA is available for download, improvements to MidPoint's new trading model.
The changes to the platform for block trading will come into force on Jun. 23, 2025.
As of Jul. 28, 2025, connections to ePUMA from 7.8.9.1, earlier version will be blocked.
This measure aim to expand the platform's capacity; improve resilience and reduce disconnections; and standardize the use of the most current versions on the market.
As previously informed in Communications 014/2024-VNC (item 3) and 074/2024VNC (item 7), only the three most recent versions of ePUMA will be available for download.
BVMF will no longer offer technical support for previous versions; future versions removed from the website may have their operation interrupted upon prior notice.
On Nov. 30, BVMF reported on new version of ePUMA system.
BVMF reported on the new version of ePUMA 7.8.5.0. with several improvements.
System Improvements
New version has new column on the customer list screen to connect it with investor ID.
In addition, a new field on the operations terminal offer parameter screen to configure the self trade prevention instruction; enhance the trade negotiation history screen.
Alert re disabling of last 100 trades function on this screen to avoid low performance.
Mar. 2024 BVMF Update on ePUMA Availability
On Mar. 26, 2024, BVMF published an external statement regarding the status of the new version of ePUMA, which will be available to participants on Apr. 1, 2024.
Additional changes include improvements to UDS creation interface, unlocking of Code field, ability to copy asset code on any screen and paste into corresponding screen.
This external statement is effective upon its publication on Mar. 26, 2024.
Sep. 2024 BVMF ePUMA Version
On Sep. 17, 2024, BVMF reported a new version ePUMA 7.8.9.2 trading screen, with a correction to the DDE/Excel link, for unsigned instruments on Market Quotes screen.
Nov. 2024 BVMF New ePUMA Version
On Nov. 28, 2024, BVMF issued Communication ePUMA v. 7.8.14.6 available on Dec. 2.
From Dec. 9, 2024, users can monitor the functionality via the ePUMA screens, and no configuration adjustments/changes to application will be needed, if new version used.
Can view offers generated from individually registered offers in two or more maturities of same product, and trade history screen expanded to view up to 500k transactions.
Midpoint Order Book and Book of Block Trade (BBT) via ePUMA was improved to reduce number of fields to be filled in when sending an offer, to reduce the change of errors.
Can use regular expressions on the market quotes screen to search for weekly options.
UDS creation screen limits the number of legs for generic structures to 20 paws/legs.
