On Jun. 25, ITA PRL issued delegation to GVT for EU law transposition.
ITA PRL adopted Law 91 of Jun. 13, 2025, delegation to government for transposition of EU directives and implementation of other EU acts: European Delegation Law 2024.
Follows ITA GVT Feb. 2024 issued delegating law to implement EU directives #202371.
Overview
ITA GVT is delegated to adopt, according to terms, procedures, principles, guidelines referred to in arts 31 and 32 of Law 234/2012, as well as specific ones established by this law, legislative decrees for implementation and transposition of EU acts.
I.e. acts referred to in articles 4 to 29 of the new law and in the attached annex.
The draft legislative decrees referred to are transmitted, after acquisition of other opinions required by law, to Chamber of Deputies and Senate so that the opinion of the parliamentary competent bodies can be expressed on them; further details provided.
ITA GVT, without prejudice to criminal provisions in force, delegated to adopt, pursuant to art 33 Law 234/2012, in line with principles, guidelines in art 32.1d) of the same law, within 18 months of date of entry into force of this law, certain provisions.
I.e. those containing criminal/administrative penalties for violations of obligations in EU directives implemented by regulation or administrative means or in EU regs published on date of this law in force day for which criminal/administrative not already provided.
