Thai SEC proposed revisions to rules for financial statement submission by REIT managers, to reduce redundancy and the administrative burden for REIT managers.
Particularly those who are also licensed asset management companies (AMCs).
Proposed Revisions
REIT managers would be required to submit their company’s financial statements to Thai SEC within 4 months after fiscal year-end, instead of current 3-month deadline.
Managers who are AMCs will be required to submit financial statements only via SEC's reporting system for securities companies, removing dual submission requirement.
Those are not AMCs must submit through Thai SEC’s designated electronic system.
