LOU INS issued notice of intent to promulgate Regulation 133, adequate payment of pharmacy and pharmacist claims, LOU INS 37:XIII:203 on reimbursement strategies.
Proposed Amendments
Implements Revised Statutes LOU INS 22:1860.3(E) on pharmacy/pharmacist claims reimbursement at no less than acquisition cost for covered drugs, devices, or services.
As per intent of the legislature with basis on Act No. 768 of the 2024 Regular Session and assure full compliance with the applicable statutory provisions.
Regulation sets forth payment of a set of minimum payment system design standards for pharmacy benefit manager, pharmacy, and pharmacist reimbursement strategies.
