On Mar. 18, ARK LEG enacted bill to repeal setting aside for quiet titles
ARK LEG enacted bill SB 298 to repeal ARK LEG 18-5-60-5-510 concerning the setting aside of a decree to quiet title to land to allow for finality in quiet title actions.
Bill Provisions.
Repeals the section which specifies that any person may appear within three (3) years and set aside the decree if he or she shall offer to file a meritorious defense.
Also repeals provision that persons under disability of infancy or mental illness or intellectual disabilities, may set aside the decree within 3 years after disability removal
