Main Points
CIFs authorised by Mar. 31, 2024 and those authorized later without having made use of their authorization must use the latest version of the Form QST-CIF, version 13.
Available online are the steps for the submission; CIFs are responsible to ensure that they have received a feedback file, i.e. an official submission confirmation by TRS.
The Form is regarded as being successfully submitted only when a NO ERROR indication feedback file is received; file is dispatched, during CYP SEC regular hours.
Effectiveness
Electronic submission of the forms via the CYP SEC TRS system by May 6, 2024.
CYP SEC will not send any reminders to those CIFs, which fail to promptly and duly comply; failure to promptly and duly comply may lead to administrative penalties.
Forms QST-CIF for Q1 2024 must be submitted via the TRS system until May 8, 2024.
Jun. 2024 Submissions
On Jun. 28, 2024, CYP SEC issued circular C650 on the latest version of form QST-CIF, version 14, to be completed and submitted to CYP SEC for Jun. 30, 2024 sunmissions.
Form considered successfully submitted to CySEC when feedback file shows no errors.
Form QST-CIF must be successfully submitted electronically via the CYP SEC’s Transaction reporting system (TRS) by Aug. 5, 2024, at the latest.
Failure to promptly comply may bear the administrative penalties; CYP SEC will not send any reminders to those CIFs which fail to promptly and duly comply.
Any questions on completing the form should be submitted in writing by Jul. 29, 2024.
Dec. 2024 Form QST-CIF, Version 15
On Dec. 20, 2024, CYP SEC issued latest version of Form QST-CIF, Version 15.
Form must be completed, submitted to CYP SEC by all CIFs authorized by Dec. 31, 2024; CYP SEC also explained that CIFs that were authorized by Dec, 31, 2024, but have not made use of their authorisation, must also submit Form QST-CIF.

Upon submission, CIFs are responsible to ensure they have received a feedback file, i.e. official submission confirmation dispatched by the TRS in the Outgoing directory.#
New version of the form consists of two main parts, part I and part II.
Part I (sections A-O): must be completed on a quarterly basis, i.e. Q1, Q2, Q3, Q4 submissions; part II (sections A-F) must be completed on an annual basis only, in Q4.

Mar. 2025 Form QST-CIF Version 16
On Mar. 26, 2025, CYP SEC issued circular C691 regarding Form QST-CIF Version 16.
Form to be completed/submitted to CYP SEC by all CIFs authorized by Mar. 31, 2025.
Includes CIFs authorized by Mar. 31, 2025 but have not made use of the authorization.
The Form must be successfully submitted electronically via the TRS by May 5, 2025.
The deadline for submissions of the Form to TRS is 5 weeks after each quarter end.
CYP SEC will not send reminders to those CIFs, which fail to promptly and duly comply.
Any queries on completion of Form QST-CIF must be submitted before Apr. 28, 2025.
