On Oct. 10, COL INS issued notice of meeting-coverage transparency.
COL INS reported it will hold virtual stakeholder meeting on Nov. 5, 2024, to discuss the implementation of bill SB 080, concerning Transparency in health care coverage.
Follows Jun. 2024, COL LEG legislation on health care price transparency, #212732.
Implementation
Beginning July 1, 2025, carriers are required to make publicly available in a form and manner determined by the Commissioner two price transparency files.
COL INS will release a draft regulation prior to the meeting and will invite feedback from participants on the regulation and the format of the required data submissions.
