NYSE Amer issued Regulatory Memo 26-09 on extended hours trading for eligible equity options and how the updated regulations may impact member obligations.
Follows NYSE Amer proposed rule on equity options trading hours, see #303120.
Extended Trading Hours
Currently, option transactions may only be made on NYSE American during the Core Trading Session (i.e., 9:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. or 4:15 p.m. EST).
Extended trading hours to include early trading session from 7:30 a.m. to 9:25 a.m. EST and a late trading session from 4:00 p.m. to 4:15 p.m. EST.

Effectiveness
Extended trading hours are effective on Oct. 19, 2026.
