AST ASIC published Consultation paper 383 - reportable situations and internal dispute resolution data publication, proposing plans to issue two dashboards in H2 2025, which will include firm-level reportable situations (RS), internal dispute resolution (IDR) data.
Follows AST ASIC Aug. 2024 published its corporate plan for 2024-2025, see #223619.
Proposal
Proposal aims to promote transparency, improve firm performance, lead to better consumer outcomes; publishing data is intended to boost transparency, accountability to foster improved conduct, highlight firms with significant breaches and complaints.
Plus, help firms improve compliance, consumer outcomes, and overall performance.
The consultation paper also states that Sep. 2025 to Dec. 2025 is set for the anticipated initial publication of dashboards providing firm-level RS and IDR data.

The comment period for this consultation closes on May 14, 2025.
