ISR Justice announced new regulations concerning the investment of funds belonging to individuals who have been appointed a guardian for property management.
Regulations
Broadens investment options open to guardians, enabling them to fulfill obligation to invest funds of individual, as long as funds are not required for person's current needs.
Investments made through the approved channels do not require court approval, regardless of the amount invested, even if it exceeds one million NIS.
Effectiveness
Regulations enter into force on Nov. 6, 2024; also, Zoom training on the new regulations will be held on Oct. 31, 2024 at 10:00am and on Nov. 5, 2024 at 1:30pm.
