Enhancement is set tentatively for mid to late Jul. 2025, and is compulsory for clearing participants as existing report retrieval channel will be replaced by end of Oct. 2025.

2025 Initiatives
From Q1 to Q3, an internal network device software upgrade will ensure system reliability, with a readiness test arranged for exchange participants (EPs).
In Q2, HKATS, DCASS operating systems will be upgraded, hardware for matching engines (ME1, ME2) will be enhanced, with practice sessions recommended for EPs.
Practice session for large-scale error trade (LET) handling will also be held, alongside mandatory updates to Google Chrome browser for HKATS online and risk functions.
In Q3, will replace service network switches, hold mandatory emergency rehearsal, decommission username-based SMP model, requiring switch to ID-based SMP by Sep.
By Q4, EPs must upgrade OAPI library to RHEL v8, complete certification by Nov.
Ongoing initiatives include mandatory OAPI re-certification every three years, to ensure compliance with latest HKATS software version, with practice sessions arranged.
Secure file transfer protocol (SFTP) for CCMS reports is scheduled to launch in 2025, details in Q1/Q2, providing CPs a secure and efficient channel to access reports.
