LTH PRL published Order T-7(2025) On the approval of the methodology for assessing the level of security assurance of electronic identification means suitable for the provision of electronic services and the description of the procedure for connecting qualified electronic identification means issuance service providers to the National Electronic Identification Information System.
Purpose
The methodology establishes how public sector entities providing electronic services must determine the level of security assurance of the electronic identification means.
Which enable citizens and/or legal entities of the Republic of Lithuania, other Member States of the EU, EEA, and third countries to use those electronic services provided.
Also, details on the procedure for qualified service providers to connect to the National Electronic Identification Information System following previous provision of some data.
Provisions on the technical and organizational requirements for such a connection.
Effectiveness
The Order entered into force on Jan. 25, 2025.
