On Feb. 25, ASX planned first industry wide test for service release 15.
ASX will conduct first of three industry wide test (IWT) events for Service release 15 (SR15); all trading participants are expected to participate in this test.

Industry Wide Test Events
During each IWT event, ASX will run all session states on a compressed schedule.
Testing include new session states, new trade report codes, FIX drop copy service; simulation of opening single price auction for selected securities, late closing auctions.
All trading participants are being requested to take part in the events, while vendors and approved market operators (AMOs) are being strongly encouraged to join too.
Trading participants must attest they can connect and process new functionalities.
Test environment will restore good to cancel/good to date orders, cancel undisclosed, iceberg orders; limited to ASX trade connections only, with no CHESS/signal B access.
The system will rollback following testing, ensuring a normal open on Apr. 14, 2025; participants should remove Apr. 12 transactions from their applications after the test.
Post-test, participants must confirm test status to customer technical support (CTS) by 1pm AEST on Apr. 12, 2025, submit the attestation form by 2pm on May 10, 2025.
Effectiveness
Registrations regarding IWT1 must be submitted to ASX CTS by Apr. 4, 2025.
The three scheduled IWT dates are as follows: Apr. 12, 2025 (IWT1), May 3, 2025 (IWT2 - ASX BCP weekend), and May 10, 2025 (IWT3 - go-live readiness).
Mar. 2025 Second Industry Test
On Mar. 31, 2025, ASX said the second IWT will take place on May 3, which will be combined with the first of two business continuity testing (BCP) events in 2025.
ASX said that it will conduct three industry tests in the production environment.
IWT1 on Apr. 12, IWT2 May 3 (BCP Weekend), and IWT3 May 10 (Go live readiness).
The market will run through all session states to allow customers to test functional changes including new session states, new trade report codes and FIX drop copy.
ASX requests all participants take part; vendors, AMOs are also encouraged to do so.
Participants must attest they can successfully connect and process new functionality.
Apr. 1, 2025 Cboe AST BCP Event
On Apr. 1, 2025, Cboe AST said it will provide unattended client testing in the Cboe titanium production environment on Apr. 12, 2025 and May 10, 2025 to assist clients perform testing related to ASX SR15 IWTs, and provided related timetable.
A BCP event will be held to failover from primary to standby instances in the Equinix SY5 data center on May 3, 2025; trades performed during test will not flow to CHESS.

Apr. 10, 2025 ASX Notices
On Apr. 10, 2025, ASX updated notice 0184.25.02 re the first IWT for service release 15 on Apr. 12, 2025, and notice 0326.25.03 re the second IWT/BCP on May 3, 2025.
Testing period for IWT 1 will be 08:30 to 12:30 AEST; test information is specified.
The testing period for IWT 2/BCP will be from 08:30 to 14:00 AEST; registrations for IWT 2/BCP should be returned by close of business by Apr. 25, 2025.
Times may also be subject to change based on participant feedback from IWT 1.
