Bill Provisions
Ensures that a private property owner may ban an emotional support animal from his or her private property unless prohibited by the Fair housing act (42 USC 3601).
If private property is business, owner may ban emotional support animal from premises by verbally telling customer that the emotional support animal is not allowed.
Or posting sign at the entrance stating that emotional support animals are prohibited.
A private property owner or business owner shall not be held liable for injury to customer or visitor by emotional support animal except in a case of gross negligence.
