On Apr. 17, TUR CSD advised of updated version of the new standard.
TUR CSD advised that due to the publication of the new version by ISO, the ISO-10962 CFI (classification of financial Instruments) code list, which is used as a reference in the product classification field in e-VEDO reporting, has been updated.
Updated Version
According to the updated version of the new standard, significant changes have been made in various categories; updates in the new standard are conditional areas.
Main reporting areas and sub-breakdowns of equities, CIVs, debt instruments, entitlements, spot, financing have been newly added to the system.
In addition, various updates were made at the sub-breakdown level of certain categories including swaps – rates; swaps – commodities; swaps – foreign exchange.
Swaps – others; non-listed and complex listed options – rates; non-listed and complex listed options – commodities; non-listed and complex listed options –foreign exchange.
Forwards – credit; forwards – rates; and forwards – commodities.
Effectiveness
Updates to the e-VEDO system have been reflected in the test (Beta) environment, and the transition to the live environment will be carried out on May 5, 2025.
It is important that tests and preparatory work are completed by May 5, 2025.
