Bill Provisions
Requires coverage for pediatric acute-onset neuropsychiatric syndrome (PANS).
Also requires coverage for pediatric autoimmune neuropsychiatric disorders associated with streptococcal infections (PANDAS), and types of autoimmune encephalitis (AE).
Health coverage plan may limit intravenous immunoglobulin treatments to no more than three monthly courses of treatment, unless more is deemed medically necessary.
