IND INS issued circular re National Cyber Security Awareness Month (NCSAM); noted Oct. is recognized globally as NCSAM to increase awareness about cyber security.
Regulated entities are encouraged to celebrate NCSAM, promote cyber hygiene via mass awareness programs using channels such as TV, radio, reels, memes, SMS.

Oct. 2024 Awareness Month 2024
On Oct. 3, 2024, IND INS issued circular regarding NCSAM 2024, regulated entities are advised to promote cyber hygiene by conducting mass awareness campaigns.
It reminded that NCSAM is aimed at creating awareness on importance of cyber security; encouraged regulated entities to take part in activities that promote this.
