  • BIS issued order denying export privileges, per 1760(e) of Export control reform act.
  • Order based on conviction of Ball for conspiring to smuggle from the US to Mexico, firearms and ammunition without the required license or written authorization.
  • Sentence: 27 months in prison, 2 years supervised release, $300 assessment, $50k criminal fine, revoked BIS-issued licenses in which Robles had interest at conviction.

  • Ball may not directly or indirectly participate in any way in transactions which involve commodities, software, or technology exported, or to be exported, from US.
  • He may not apply for, obtain, or use any license, license exception, or export control document; nor carry on negotiation, order, buy, receive etc., any such items to export

  • Denial order for Nathan Ball is effective immediately, until Nov. 6, 2024.
