CBOE reported on mandatory weekend virtual trading floor (VTF) production testing.
Mandatory Testing
Mandatory VTF production testing will take place on Nov. 14, 2026 for Floor Trading Permit Holder (TPH) firms with presence in SPX, VIX, RUT, or Multi-List trading crowds.
Participating TPHs must join from their off-site locations and not Cboe Trading Floor.
Includes participation requirements for testers, requirement for floor broker to pick up a BAR tablet to access VTF Zones and Trade Blotter for representation of orders.
Floor Market Maker and Floor Broker TPH administrators must email Cboe with the list of individual users and corresponding assignments that need access to the testing.
Voluntary Testing
Cboe will provide a voluntary pre-test on Nov. 7, 2026, at which time, the TPH firms will be allowed to log into production VTF trading rooms and PAR tablets.
