  • Eligibility
  • Loans are available in primary counties of Kent, New Castle, and Sussex in Delaware.
  • Also, the adjacent counties of Caroline, Cecil, Dorchester, Kent, Queen Anne's, Wicomico and Worcester in Maryland, Cumberland, Gloucester, and Salem in NJ.
  • In Pennsylvania eligibility includes the adjacent counties of Chester and Delaware.
  • Available to small businesses, agricultural cooperatives, businesses engaged in aquaculture, and most private nonprofits with economic losses due to drought, heat.
  • EIDLS of up to $2 million can assist in meeting financial obligations and operating expenses, which otherwise could have been met had the weather events not occurred.
  • Eligibility is based on the size of the applicant, type of activity and financial resources.
  • These working capital loans may be used to pay fixed debts, payroll, accounts payable, and other bills that could have been paid had the weather disasters not occurred.
  • Application Deadline
  • Completed EIDL applications must be submitted to SBA no later than May 27, 2025.
