SBA offered assistance to businesses harmed by winter ice storm on Jan. 12 to 20.
Affected Counties
The disaster declaration makes SBA assistance available in Benton and Clackamas.
Also Clatsop, Columbia, Deschutes, Douglas, Hood River, Klamath, Lane, Lincoln, Linn.
Marion, Multnomah, Polk, Tillamook, Wasco, Washington, and Yamhill counties.
Finally, Clark, Pacific, Skamania and Wahkiakum counties in Washington State.
Disaster Loans
Eligible entities permitted to apply for Economic injury disaster loans (EIDL) of up to $2 million to help businesses meet their working capitals needs caused by the storms.
Applications are open to small non-farm businesses, small agricultural cooperatives.
Also small businesses in aquaculture, and most private nonprofit organizations.
Loans may be used to pay fixed debts, payroll, and accounts payable, among others.
Loan amounts and terms are set by SBA based on business' financial condition.
Application Deadline
The deadline for eligible entities to submit a disaster loan application is Nov. 8, 2024.
