Apr. 2023 IND NSD VAPT Compliance Report
On Apr. 12, 2023, IND NSD advised depository participants to submit the VAPT compliance report for closure of findings identified during VAPT by Apr. 15, 2023.
Participants are requested to email the VAPT report to IND NSD for FY 2022-2023.
Jun. 2023 IND NSD VAPT Submission
On Jun. 12, 2023, IND NSD reminded participants to submit the VAPT report on time.
VAPT shall be carried out and completed from Sep to Nov. of every financial year.
The final VAPT report shall be submitted to IND NSD within 1 month from completion.
Sep. 2023 IND NSD Online Submission
On Sep. 28, 2023, IND NSD requested participants to submit VAPT reports for FY2023-2024 online through e-PASS platform as well as email a copy of their VAPT reports.
Also provided guidelines on how to submit the VAPT reports online, the facility for online submission will be available to participants from Oct. 16, 2023.
Initial VAPT report shall be submitted by Dec. 25, 2023, final report by Mar. 25, 2024.
Dec. 2023 Submission Reminder
On Dec. 19, 2023, IND NSE reminded trading members to submit VAPT report, action taken report (ATR) and compliance report for the year 2023-2024 in timely manner.
The reports shall be submitted by Dec. 31, 2023 through member portal to IND NSE, in order to avoid prescribed penalties or disciplinary action.

Dec. 26, 2023 IND NSD Submission of Reports
On Dec. 26, 2023, IND NSD informed participants they shall submit initial VAPT report to NSD by Dec. 31, 2023, and shall submit final VAPT report to NSD by Mar. 31, 2024.

Jan. 2024 IND NSD Submission
On Jan. 16, 2024, IND NSD issued circular reiterating details of Sep. 28 circular above.
Noted that participants have submitted the initial VAPT report via the ePASS portal and are now requested to submit the VAPT revalidation report through e-PASS platform.
A copy of the VAPT revalidation report must also be sent to IND NSD by email.
Sep. 2024 Reports Submission
On Sep. 12, 2024, IND NSE informed participants to submit VAPT report and/or action taken report (ATR)/compliance report for the period Sep. to Nov. FY 2024/2025.
The reports shall be submitted by Dec. 31, 2024 through member portal to IND NSE.

Oct. 2024 IND NSD Report FY 2024/25
On Oct. 10, 2024, IND NSD informed members to submit initial VAPT report for FY 2024/2025 by Dec. 31, 2024 via e-PASS portal, as well as email a copy of VAPT report.
Outlines the scope of activities that should be included in conducting the VAPT report.
In addition, participants are requested to fix all the vulnerabilities reported in the initial VAPT report and conduct revalidation assessment; findings identified during VAPT shall be submitted to IND NSD within 3 months post-submission of the initial VAPT report.
Participants shall submit the final VAPT report to IND NSD latest by Mar. 31, 2025.
Dec. 2024 IND NSE Submission Deadline
On Dec. 17, 2024, IND NSE issued reminder re VAPT report submission for FY 2024-25.
Trading members must conduct and complete the VAPT between Sep. and Nov. 2024.
Approved, detailed VAPT report, along with summary report digitally signed by CERT-in empaneled entity, must be submitted through the member portal by Dec. 31, 2024.
