On Oct. 11, TAI FSC issued sustainable finance evaluation indicators.
TAI FSC announced the third round of sustainable finance evaluation indicators, to encourage financial industry to address climate change and sustainable development.
Scope expanded to include asset management companies with assets between NTD 300bn and NTD 600bn; and total of 86 financial institutions to be evaluated.
New topics are included, such as dual materiality in sustainability reports, financial crime prevention efforts, and services provided to remote areas or minority groups.
Evaluation handbook and information sessions will be provided to guide institutions through process; information will be available on FSC’s sustainable finance platform.
Evaluations begin in May 2025, with submissions due by Sep. 15, 2025; and the evaluation results are expected to be released within the first quarter of 2025.
