AST ACT PRL Gender-Based Harassment

AST ACT PRL notified instrument titled Work health and safety (sexual and gender-based harassment code of practice) approval 2024, which attaches approved Sexual and gender-based harassment code of practice under Work health and safety act.
In addition, it notified instrument titled Work health and safety (preventing and responding to bullying) code of practice revocation 2024, which revokes Work health and safety (preventing and responding to bullying) code of practice 2012 (no 1).
Follows Aug. 2023, AST ACT PRL notified approval re a workplace code, see #183248.
Overview of 2024 Code
The Sexual and gender-based harassment code of practice (the 2024 code) is intended to be ready by a person conducting a business or undertaking (known as a PCBU).
It provides practical guidance to PCBUs on how to manage health and safety risks.
Specifically, risks arising from sexual and gender-based harassment at work.
2024 code may be a useful reference for other persons interested in the duties under act and Work health and safety regulation; 2024 code applies to performance of work and to all workplaces covered by act; to be read and applied together with the below.

Effectiveness
Both instruments above (of Jul. 17) commence on Nov. 11, 2024.
