On Feb. 28, RUS GVT issued law counteracting extremist financing.
RUS CB published law 15-FZ on amendments to the code of administrative offenses of the Russian Federation in regards to counteracting the financing of extremist activities.
Key points
The law expands scope to include combating the financing of extremist activities.
It also specifies the authorized federal executive body responsible for measures against: money laundering, terrorism financing, extremist activity financing.
As well as the financing of weapons of mass destruction proliferation.
The law clarifies composition of administrative offenses related to AML, terrorism financing, extremist activity and proliferation of weapons of mass destruction.
