On Apr. 30, 2025, TUR EXC announced changes to Turkish Lira Overnight Participation Reference Yield Rate Rule Set in a clean version and in a tracked changes version.
The table Volume Ranges of Transactions Included in the Calculation in Art 3.2 titled Insufficiency of Data of the Rule Set is updated and the changes which are shown in Annex 1 in a traceable format, are accepted in the final version in Annex 2.
The updated Rule Set is put into effect on May 28, 2025.
On Jan. 16, TUR EXC announced changes in TLREFK methodology.
TUR EXC amended the TLREFK Turkish Lira Overnight Reference Rate Methodology.
Also issued a final version of the TLREFK methodology and a tracked changes version.
Changes
A statement is added to the Purpose section to justify the selected calculation method.
A statement is added to the Delay in Calculation/Technical Problem section in order to clarify the announcement time in case of a delay or a technical problem.
Temporary Suspension and Permanent Cessation sections have been added.
A statement is added to the Follow-up and Management section regarding Borsa Istanbul as administrator of TLREFK, responsible for calculation/publication processes.
Effective Date section is added in order to facilitate the follow-up of the changes made.
Immaterial changes seen as necessary in practical purposes have also been made.
