On Oct. 8, SBA made disaster loans available to KNS businesses.
SBA made Economic injury disaster loans (EIDLs) available to Kansas small businesses because of reduced revenues due to the drought disaster that began on Aug. 6, 2024.
Noted that small nonfarm businesses, agricultural cooperatives, businesses engaged in aquaculture and most private nonprofits of any size may qualify for the EIDLs.
Eligibility is based on financial impact of disaster only, not on any actual damage.
Application Deadline
The deadline to apply to SBA for economic injury disaster loans is May 30, 2025.
