Investor participants and SSA statement recipients are strongly encouraged to use CCASS internet system during the extended transition period for a smooth changeover.
On Nov. 7, HKEX decommissioned the CCASS phone system service.
HKEX stated that it is planning to decommission the CCASS Phone System service for investor participants (IPs) to access and operate IP accounts on CCASS in Q1 2025.
IPs can continue to access CCASS through the existing CCASS internet system; an Operating guide for investor participants has been provided to assist users.
Clearing participants, custodian participants offering stock segregated account (SSA) with statement service should notify their SSA statement recipients of this change.
Apr. 2025 Decommissioning Date
On Apr. 1, 2025, HKEX said it is planning to decommission the CCASS phone system on May 5, 2025; IPs and SSA statement recipients can continue to access CCASS.
Those who have not yet registered as CCASS internet system users are strongly recommended to register as soon as possible, in order to ensure access to CCASS.
