TOCOM proposed revisions to Business regulations and Brokerage agreement standards, as per provision of inquiry services for electricity futures and spot trading.
Proposed Revisions
TOCOM, Japan Electric Power Exchange (JEPX) offer inquiry services for open positions in electricity in TOCOM's energy market with contract results in the JEPX spot market.
To broker trading participants, as well as market trading participants and consignors who are JEPX's members and electric power suppliers at the same time.
Effectiveness
The revised regulations and standards will be implemented from Oct. 28, 2024.
