Follows Aug. 2023 FTC updated national do-not-call registry access fees, #147235.
Highlights
The cost of accessing a single area code will be $80 in 2025, increase from $78 2024.
Maximum charge to access all area codes nationwide is $22,038, from $21,402 2024.
Fee for accessing an additional area code for a half year will increase to $40 from $39.
Telemarketers calling consumers in the United States are required to download the numbers on the Registry to ensure they do not call consumers who have registered.
Effectiveness
New fees for national Do not call (DNC) registry access effective Oct. 1, 2024.
