On Aug. 23, HK SFC published revised version of financial return form.
HK SFC, HK GVT published a revised financial return form, to be submitted by licensed corporations under section 56 of the Securities and futures (financial resources) rules.
The revisions are primarily driven by the Securities and futures (financial resources) (amendment) rules 2023 for the Type 13 regulated activity regime, see #167531.
Effectiveness
With effect from Nov. 1, 2024, the electronic version of the revised financial return form shall be used for submitting a return in respect of any period ending on or after Oct. 24, 2024; supersedes previous electronic form of 25 May 2023 (#173713).
