Overview
Amendment of art 12 relates to functions, rights of State Consumer Rights Protection Service while art 49.1 mandatory instructions for Internet access service providers.
Further, it adds item 13 to Annex: in 2023 Reg 2023/988 on general product safety.
The law is set to enter into force on Dec. 13, 2024; however, LTH GVT has until 2024 Dec. 1, 2024, to adopt the implementing legislation for it.

On Sep. 19, 2024, LTH PRL registered the bill under XIVP-4144 on the amendment of articles 12 and 49-1 of the law on the protection of consumer rights I-657 and annex.

On Nov. 22, 2024, LTH PRL published Law XIV-3113 of Nov. 12, 2024, amending articles 12, 49-1 and annex of the Law I-657 on the protection of consumer rights.
The amending law's provisions enter into force on Dec. 13, 2024.
