On Aug. 21, NZ GVT issued notice regarding certain custodians.
NZ GVT issued the Financial markets conduct (restricted schemes-custodian assurance engagement) exemption notice 2024, which comes into force on Sep. 30, 2024.
The notice exempts certain custodians of eligible restricted schemes from the requirement in regulation 87 of the Financial markets conduct regulations 2014.
To obtain an assurance engagement from an auditor that covers the assurance engagement matters specified in regulation 88 of the regulations.
