On Jun. 24, SBA made disaster assistance available in Oklahoma.
SBA made economic injury disaster loans (EIDLs) available to Oklahoma businesses.
Loans offset economic losses due to reduced revenues from drought beginning Apr. 16.
Eligibility
Primary counties designated are Woods and Woodward with aid also available in OKL counties of Alfalfa, Dewey, Ellis, Harper, Major; KNS counties of Barber and Comanche.
In addition, small nonfarm businesses, agricultural cooperatives, businesses engaged in aquaculture and most private nonprofits may qualify for EIDLs up to $2 million.
EIDLs are intended to help meet financial obligations and operating expenses which could have been met by the victim business had the drought disaster not occurred.
Eligibility for EIDLs based on financial impact of disaster and not on actual damage.
