On Jun. 18, CZC CB outlined changes to simplify banking management.
CZC CB said it will communicate with clients electronically, and limit its branches.
Purpose
New technologies will simplify the management of bank accounts, reduce paperwork and storage of documents, speed up the processing of client requests and instructions.
The plan includes the launch of an instant payment service for clients in the future.
Concentration of all activities in the area of money circulation, non-cash payment systems and banking services for clients in the monetary and payment system section.
This section will also be responsible for the management and development of the CERTIS interbank payment system and payment system regulation from this year.
The changes are related to the reorganization of the branch network, management is gradually merged into two regions, i.e. Bohemia and Moravia by Nov. 1, 2024.
From Nov. 1, 2024, cash desks in Ústí nad Labem, Pilsen, Ceske Budejovice will be permanently closed, clients can use branches in Prague and Hradec Králové.
Or within the Moravia region at offices in Brno or Ostrava; CZC CB will provide cashless services in Ústí nad Labem, Pilsen and Ceske Budejovice until the end of 2026.
During this time, a central back office will be established in Hradec Králové as a workplace to service clients' accounts and provide support regarding payment systems.

Branch management arrangements will take place on Nov. 1, 2024.
