Amendment 1 was issued May 20, 2024, to include the following areas adversely affected, Harris, Liberty, Montgomery, Polk, San Jacinto, Trinity, and Walker Counties.
Eligible for emergency protective measures (Category B), limited to direct federal assistance under the Public Assistance program (already designated for individual aid)
Amendment 2 was issued May 21, 2024, includes following areas adversely affected: Eastland, Hardin, Jasper, Jones, Lamar, and Waller Counties for individual assistance.
Amendment 3 was issued May 23, 2024, to include Public Assistance for the following areas: Harris, Liberty, Montgomery, Polk, San Jacinto, Trinity, and Walker Counties.
Amendment 4 was issued May 27, 2024, includes following areas adversely affected by the event: Collin, Cooke, Denton, and Montague Counties for individual assistance.
Amendment 5 was issued May 29, 2024, includes the following areas adversely affected by the event: Bell, Henderson, and Tyler Counties for individual assistance.
Jul. 2024 FEMA Amendments
On Jul. 8, 2024, FEMA issued amendments to disaster declaration for Apr. 26 storms.
Amendment 7 added Austin, Dallas, Hockley, Kaufman, Newton counties for Individual aid and Amendment 8 Austin, Calhoun, Cooke, Eastland, Hardin, Hockley, and others.
Amendment 9 specified the incident period for this disaster is closed Jun. 5, 2024.
Added Ellis, Navarro, and Terrell Counties for Individual Assistance in Amendment 10.
Further issued Amendment 11 to add Bell and Terrell Counties for Public Assistance.

On Sep. 9, 2024, FEMA published Amendment 17 to include Bowie, Red River, Nacogdoches, and Navarro counties for public assistance; Smith County for public aid.

Sep. 13, 2024 SBA Published Amendment 1
On Sep. 13, 2024, SBA published in federal register notice of Amendment 1 to the Administrative Rural declaration of disaster for State of Texas, dated Aug. 7, 2024.
Amendment 1 adds Coke and Rockwall as primary counties under the declaration.
Physical loan application deadline is Oct. 7, 2024; EIDL deadline is May 7, 2025.
Sep. 18, 2024 FEMA Amendment 16
On Sep. 18, 2024, FEMA published amendment 16 in the federal register, which was issued on Jul. 18, 2024, in order to add Bailey County as an area for public assistance.
Sep. 24, 2024 SBA Amendment
On Sep. 24, 2024, SBA reported an amendment to the major disaster declaration.
Order now provides for public assistance aid as well as extending deadline to Oct. 24.
