On Oct. 10, SRI Tax published notice re personal identification number.
SRI Tax said it extended validity of personal identification number (PIN) already issued.
Key Points
PIN serves as the password for individual taxpayers to access their user accounts in the Revenue Administration Management Information System (RAMIS) of SRI Tax.
For partnerships, resident companies, non-resident companies, entities, corporations, the PIN is also the password to access the authorization of staff/tax agent portal in RAMIS.
These entities can request staff IDs (SSID) after logging into the portal, which are required for filing their tax returns.
It is compulsory for taxpayers to submit 2024/2025 tax returns online, including simplified individual, individual, partnership, and corporate income tax returns.
Forgotten PINs must be re-requested via the e-Services facility.
PINs are issued only via email, and taxpayers must update their registered email address before requesting a new PIN.
Effectiveness
The validity of PINs is extended until Nov. 30, 2025.
